The boss paced the length of the room and stopped. A chair took flight, bouncing off the whiteboard.
At the table, the suit raised an eyebrow. “Are you through?”
What was I thinking? The designer knew he was fired. He pressed shaking hands down on his knees and wished it was over.
“What? What is this!” The boss waved the design above his head.”This is … frivolous! Like oars on a rollercoaster!”
Calmly the suit sat in his chair. “Well?”
The boss banged his hand on the table. “You’re fired!”
The designer’s head snapped back.
Smiling, the suit stood. “Let’s go.”
