The wedding photographer’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “I have the perfect plan. Your pictures will be fab-u-lous.” He stretched the last word out like spun gold.
Alexandru looked around at the ruins of the medieval fortress and blinked.
Maria brushed her white skirts with a gloved hand and smiled. “What plan?”
“Yes! Perfect light up there!” He pointed to a path on top of a rock wall.
Alexandru raised his eyebrows. “Well, I—”
“C’mon, c’mon,” urged the photographer. “Only the best for your grandkids! Trust me.”
Maria rolled her eyes. “I told you not to hire my ex,” she muttered.
